Workspace

There are many objects on the Photoshop workspace including palettes, tool options and drop down menus. Here I will briefly describe the purpose of each of the interace compenents and point them out.

Tools Palette:
Self explanatory – the palette that contains the tools that can be used to directly edit the image.
Tool Options:
A selection of options that relate to the currently selected tool and alter its effects.
Drop down menus:
Standard drop down menus as seen in most Windows and Macintosh applications. Offers access to most of Photoshop’s features.
Info Palette:
Shows information about the current image, or shows a thumbnail via which you can navigate the image. Information provided includes crop/selection area, file size, image dimensions, etc.
Colours/Styles Palette:
Allows you to select a colour via RGB sliders or preset web-safe colours (‘Swatches’). Also lets you apply layer styles – preset combinations of layer styles (effects) that can achieve effective results if you’re in a hurry. Use the expansion arrow (just undereath the close button) to load more styles that are included with Photoshop.
History Palette:
Gives a list of actions that can be undone – lists around one hundred. You can save snapshots to return to at key points in your image creation, or return to the saved file/a recent step. Also contains actions and tool presets for the currently selected tool.
Layers Palette:
The layers palette has many features, too many to list here. They are described later in the tutorial.

Layers

Layers are an integral element of Photoshop. They allow you to edit images more easily, and use transparency to its full effect. By default the background layer (Locked and labelled “Background“) is white, and any subsequently created layers are transparent by default.

Text Effect Tutorial

First.New.Create any pixel object.Background white.

The write a text.Any text.But I recommended large n bold font.
After that.Right click on the layer > Blending Option.
Stroke and the pixel is around 8-19.As long as it fill inside the font.

Then right click the layer again.Rasterize type > right click again > Convert To Smart Object > Right Click Again > Rasterize Layer.Till it become normal layer.

Then,use the magic wand tool to select all the font by holding shift button and select all the font.Right click on the selected and Layer Via Cut.

Then crop the image that you want to use and drag it inside the font.It’ll become a new layer.Make sure the layer is between the font and the red stroke.

This is a little bit tricky.But I think U can understand if U read properly.Select the font’s layer.Again.Use the wand tool.Select all the font.Next.Go to opacity.Use 0 opacity.

Next,Merge the image layer n font layer.

Then.Go Select, and click inverse.Press delete. Then select > deselect to see the result.Not finish yet!
Right click on the layer.Select blending option.Go to Bevel and Emboss.
Use the default setting.If you like,U can also edit a little bit.Didn’t hurt right?

Then right click on the red’s layer.Blending option.Bevel and Emboss also.But here is little bit different.Double-click on the Gloss Contour.Not the arrow.The contour.Arrange it negatively.Means the higher part goes down.The lower part goes up.Click oke.

Then go to color overlay.Use any color.Recommend grey.
Then it finish!.Haha.Here are the result.

U can also skip the red’s layers tutorial.It didn’t that much important.Dun create a stroke at the beginning.It only bevel and emboss on the text.Customize by create new art.That how I create this art.Keep on be creative =D

Okek.Skang untuk earphone.Earphone leh design pki brush.untuk yg lebih tere gna laa pen tool.Tp aku pki brush je.^^.Buat ja bg nampak cam earphone.Janji ada wayar n msk wayar tuh p kat telinga.

Lepas tuh wat gradient skit di font tuh.Watkan bahagian bawah gelap sedikit.

Lepas tuh g image>canvas size.Increase dlm 10pixel.Lockkan kedua2 layer itu.

Lepas tuh pindah kan kedua2 layer itu atas sedikit.
OK.Pastuh setting kan semua bg camneyh~!Untuk background layer~!
