Left 4 Dead 2 Demo’s Review

Ok, ive been playing the demo, for maybe around or 2 rounds, and I gotta say, its amazing, seriously, its great. I take back on my cursing last time, overall its nice, so Im going to do a full review. About the new item only I guess, weapons, characters and map I don’t know much. But I guess I can give a few things out.

Ok, the gameplay, Its basically, yes, same like the Left 4 Dead 1, well, you must be saying, WTF, ‘same do not want’. Buts thats it, what do you want? superhero in l4d?

Gameplay

I would suggest you guys watch the gameplay at youtube or somewhere, because its basically the same with L4D1, but! there a new things, new items, new weapons, new zombies. Even the normal zombies also got upgrades. Again, This is just a Demo’s review, not the full games,

New Weapons!

Ok, there are several new weapons, but above all, there a melee weapons. The melee its quite nice if you out of ammo, but its actually replace the pistol, so you choose, either pistols, or melee. There also a guitar for smashing lol. From what I play, I’ve found, Machete, Frying Pan, Baton, Guitar and thats only i thinks, correct me if im wrong. There maybe a much more weapons on Full Games. As from the trailers, a chainsaw maybe also include and special baseball bats to who’s pre-ordered it. btw, MELEE WEAPONS DO HURT YOUR TEAMMATES.

The new Weapons basically its just 3 type. Automatic, Sniper, and shotguns. Which is basically an Uzi, M-16,”custom mod M-4″ i think, AK 47, Shotguns, Chrome Shotguns, Automatic shotguns, Sniper rifle, Semi-auto Sniper rifle and more, I thinks. Too many to said here. The weapons is basically the basic 3 like in the first games

New Zombies.

First of all, the normal zombies also got upgrade a bit, there 1 where he is wearing the kevlar suits, so its quite hard to kill em, and there are also zombies wearing hazmat suits.

The Charger
sorry for the image, “tak sempat nak snap picts” anyway, charger is actually, well yes like its name, he come charges at you, he kinda “stop camping guys i wanna smash you all om nom nom nom ” zombies. He will come smash at you with massive speed and grab 1 guy, to “nom nom nom” him, I meant rape him.. I meant punch him to death. He is almost same like tank, but not as hard as tank, this guy easy to kill, just couple of shots.

The Spitter
This guy.. I meant girl, spit at you with acid. You know what izit rite? if you stand on top of the acid, well, your live will reduce. Simple as any other monster who “spits acid at you and drain the life”. She is almost same like boomer, but the acid will hurts you, unlike the boomer where you could’t see and swamp of zombies targeting you. The acid will lies there for couple of second if you manage to avoid it and she dies easily, just couples of shots is enough.

The Jockey
This guy will grab you and take you away from the team. Almost same like hunter, but maybe a bit like smoker, since he grabs you can take you away, so well, err thats it. Quite easy to kill, couples of shot is enough.

Moving Witch
Witch is yes, the same witch from the L4D1, but this times, she can move around, well, she moves while crying so you can heard her, be careful when you heard she crying and stay away, same like before, 1 hit or so and you down, couples of shotgun headshot will kill her.

New Items

Defibrillator
This items revive your teammates if he/she died. Its the same with the medics in Battlefields 2, you can revive players. I think this time there will be no ” hey im dead and spawn here so please open the damn door”, well, from the demo, I didn’t encounter any of its, if you wanna revive your teammates, just find yourself a defibrillator and go to his corpse and start charging the electricity :3, oh yeah, this uses the med kit slot.

Adrenaline
Adrenaline will give you shorts amount of times, to runs fast, its uses the pills slot. And as I mention earlier, adrenaline will give you short amount of times to moves and do something really fast. So if you gonna rush turning off something, use this.

Boomer Bile
The boomer bile is one of the throw-able item and will use the pipe or molotov slot. The function is practically the same with Pipe bomb. You use this to throw at zombies, and he will turn purple, the zombies that turn purple will be attacked by others zombies, as the name, its actually the Boomer’s bile, where the victims will get rape by zombies.

Overall

So far, the demo is actually quite good. Well, its only consist of 2 map, but it is nice for a demo. The graphic is also improve, and the violence itself is superbly, there will be blood splatter at your monitor screen, the pipe bomb explosion will show the zombie’s organs flying off, the machete’s victim will got cut and the organs will be falling off.
